For many years Batman has had a permanent place in the comic world and is regularly seen onscreen too. Especially in the last 20 years there have been several adaptations with different actors. That's enough reason to take a look at all of Batman films and their actors.

Batman is not only one of the most popular comic book heroes in the world, he's also one of the oldest. His debut was celebrated nearly a decade ago . Surprisingly, the first movie adaptation of Batman almost identical to this occurred back in the 1940s. So there have been film adaptations of Batman featuring him on crime-fighting adventures ever since.

The producers of Tim Burton's movies have parted ways with him and have hired Joel Schumacher to direct the new movie. One reason for the poor box office performance of Batman Returns was that the studio felt that the dark tone of BATMAN RETURNS was too much for teenage audiences, so Schumacher was given the job of making a more cheerful movie that would also be appropriate for young adults.

Despite being panned by fans and critics, the second movie in Joel Schumacher's Batman series is still considered one of the worst entries in the saga. In 1997, it sent Batman's popularity plummeting with its bizarre tone. Even George Clooney, who starred in it, agrees that it was a bad idea.

Nolan secured the role of Batman afterwards and hired Christian Bale for the role. His first Batman appearance was in Batman Begins. The film was successful enough to reboot the series, mainly due to Nolan's much more serious and worldly approach in comparison to his predecessor.

The conclusion of the Dark Knight series occurred four years later. In The Dark Knight Rises, Christian Bale stepped into the role of Batman for a final time. Although the film didn't reach the quality of its predecessor, it was still a worthy end to the series.

With the DC heroes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and The Flash, there was a lot of heat on them, but instead of Marvel slowly building a team film, Warner Bros. and DC went all in right away at Warner Bros.

Many fans didn't really like the decision to cast Michael Keaton for Spider-Man again. Again, they were shown that they were wrong, as Affleck was able to convince in the role of the hero right away.

After Warner Bros. canceled all other team films, they only released Zack Snyder's Justice League in 2021. Many fans were satisfied with the original version, but the series itself wasn't able to revive it.

After the Justice League debacle, there were also more problems with this project and eventually they decided to shelve it. Instead, the studio decided to start over completely with director Matt Reeves.

The history should be very well cared for and additionally also the detective aspect of Batman, which has been noticeably missing in most previous films, should be emphasized. After several delays due to the pandemic, the film finally arrived in early 2022 and signaled the beginning of the next Batman era.

So, Warner Bros., get Michael Keaton back. He's scheduled to play an older Batman in upcoming films, but this dimension is different, so it's doubtful that he'll run into Pattinson.

Official Seine return will be celebrated by Keaton in The Flash, in which also Ben Affleck is expected to participate. In contrast to Keaton, however, Affleck will be exiting the film as Batman actor. Quite different from Michael Keaton, who is then already confirmed for a role in Batgirl.
