Arsenal London
The history of Arsenal Football Club is one that has seen many achievements. Founded in 1886 as an amateur side, the side played their games at Highbury Grove and Finsbury Park before moving permanently to Emirates Stadium near London Airport in 2006, where they set a record attendance of over 60,000! They've also won 12 FA Cups and 13 English league titles - all without defeat or mercy from this unstoppable juggernaut, one might think... "But why," you ask yourself aloud? There's no better time than the 2-0 defeat by Bayern Munich on Thanksgiving night 1999, when Thierry Henry scored both goals and tactical tactics from the Gunners led his stunned teammates to victory.
It was only over 40 years after their formation that Arsenal won their first major titles in the 1930s with five league titles and two FA Cups. The next milestone came when they finally won the English double in the 20th century, making them one of only a handful of teams to ever do so!
In the 21st century there is no English club more successful than Arsenal. With two Champions League finals and 18 league titles, as well as other achievements such as an FA Cup win and three European Cups, they are not only one of the best teams in England but also one of the most dominant in all of Europe!
