Aston Villa's official team name is The Villans, but they are also known as 'Villa' and their supporters proudly refer to themselves with an exclamation mark. The most successful English football club has a long history of success dating back to the Second World War. The derbies between Aston Villa and Birmingham City are known as the "Birmingham Derby" or "Second City Rivals".
