Hawkeye on Disney+: The best bow hunter in the Marvel universe is getting his own series. Here you can find all the important facts about the MCU spin-off series at Disney+.

Please note that the start date for the first season of this Marvel series is 24.11.2021 and that there are currently six episodes according to IMDb. The movie will be directed by Rhys Thomas and produced by Bert and Bertie together with Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d?Arcy James, Alaqua Cox and Jerry Bruckheimer. It will be a genre series set in the Marvel Universe and it will be free for all Disney+ subscribers. The monthly fee for Disney+ is 8.99 Euros while the yearly fee costs 89.90 Euros (7.49 Euros per month).

Jeremy Renner, also known as Clint Barton and Hawkeye, has been a member of the Marvel team for a long time now. Marvel studios had already pre-emptively closed a contract before the first Avengers movie came out in 2012. Renner could thus point to two Oscar nominations for his roles in the war drama "The Hurt Locker" and crime drama "The Town".

So much is learned by the audience only in the movies "Avengers" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron". In the latter movie from 2015, fans surprisngly learned even his family. Yet, it will still take six more years, four more guest appearances in the Marvel Universe ("The First Avenger: Civil War", "Avengers: Endgame" and two "What if" episodes) and the founding of Disney+ to experience his own adventure.

There was a whole bunch of entertaining and exciting Hawkeye comics written by Matt Fraction and illustrated by David Aja. These stories tell what Clint does when he's not fighting with the Avengers: He inherits his own building, has to protect it from a criminal family, and adopts a dog. Plus, he works with Kate Bishop, one of the so-called "Young Avengers," together.

Hawkeye is playing accordingly for a few months after the events of "Avengers: Endgame". Clint Barton is travelling with his kids to New York to regain lost time. The family has to deal yet again with the events of last Avengers movies in which the alien scoundrel Thanos eliminated half of the population of the universe and the Avengers had to bring them back.

Mittlerweile ist er wieder etwas wacher unterwegs. Eine andere Person namens Kate Bishop hat sich jedoch mittlerweile das Samurai-Kostüm angezogen und bezeichnet sich selbst zudem auch noch als "weltbeste Bogenschützin". Und wie es aussieht, steht ihr Clint als eine Art widerwilliger Mentor zur Seite.

Apparently, a lot of action and humor are what the audience looks for. Plus, they can expect a few nice Easter eggs in the trailer. For example, one scene shown in the trailer is from a Captain America musical called "Rogers", which will be performing in New York's famous theater street, Broadway.

Hailey Steinfeld, who was nominated for an Oscar for her role in the Western "True Grit", will appear in the upcoming series "Dickinson" alongside Jeremy Renner, who was also nominated for an Oscar for his role in the same series.

The actress Vera Farmiga plays Kate Bishop and thus Hailey Steinfelds mother, who at least in the comic book version has a significant role. Farmiga was last seen in successful horror movies such as "Conjuring" and "Source Code." She got however well-known through her work in films such as "The Departed," "Up in the Air" and "Texas Killing Fields."

The Irish actor Fra Fee plays the mercenary Kazi and the known from "Better Call Saul" Tony Dalton takes on the role of Jack Duquesne, a man with a mysterious connection to Clint's past. There is also a chance that Florence Pugh will show up as Jelena Belowa, who stole the show in this year's Marvel blockbuster "Black Widow".

On the directing team, the names Amber Finlayson and Katie Ellwood are found, together with Rhys Thomas. He has previously worked on comedy shows such as "Saturday Night Live" and "Documentary Now!". So it can be assumed that a lot of humor would be fitting to the original source material.
