If you want to see public broadcasters Joyn, you can do this without registering. The offer includes not only the big broadcasters like ARD and ZDF, but also all third programs like WDR, NDR, MDR, BR or HR.

To be able to see all of the free offered programs on the Joyn sender list, however, an account is required. However, for registration there are initially no costs. Furthermore, users with an account can access many free on-demand content, so a registration may well be worth it.

Despite a large sender list, users have to Exile themselves from Joyn in order to watch livestreams from broadcasters on RTL Group's RTL+ streaming service. RTL has its own streaming service, RTL+, where again the channels of Prosieben-Sat1 are not included. However, unlike Joyn, there are always costs involved when watching livestreams from these broadcasters on RTL+.

Before each stream begins, additional advertising clips will be shown. Excluded are public broadcasters. These stations will also be transmitted in the Free version of Joyn without advertisements and in high-definition quality.

So now, with the subscription to the basic package, users can also access Kabel 1 classics, Sat.1 emotions, Pro7 FUN, animal planet and Discovery Channel. In addition, premium users have access to a range of additional content as well as a comprehensive media library that offers practical access to all formats from ProSiebenSat1 and many exclusive content offerings.

Telenovelas play a big role within the week. Monday to Friday, Sat.1 airs international movies, TV shows and miniseries such as "The Pillars of Earth". However, on many evenings, German crime dramas or medical series are aired instead, or specific women's nights with series like "Danni Lowinski" are put together.

RiC TV: RiC TV is designed specifically for 3- to 13-year-olds. After sleep, which is usually around 20:15, the channel switches to a shopping program.

Comedy Central: As the broadcaster's title promises, you'll find here predominantly comedy content. However, this isn't the case any longer; now, German Comedy Central shares one channel with Nickelodeon's children's programming.
