Sky will exclusive rights to show Formula 1 races in 2022. Sky is the only provider of TV coverage in Germany, so you don't have to completely cut off your connection to the pinnacle of racing on free TV. In a given year, four races will be broadcast on RTL and there will also be a live highlight show available on Sky. If you want to watch Formula 1 live on Sky, there are two options to choose from: Sky Ticket or Sky Q.

You can watch all Formula 1 offers with a Sky Ticket. The great advantage is the veryflexible cancellation periods that are monthly (butwith a 12-month subscription). While on vacation you can follow the race action with the Sky Ticketapp.

The Sky Formula 1 2022 package offers you not only the 23 races of the season, but also all of the race sessions, including the qualifying session, and this all without charge. Additionally, background coverage has been expanded. Sky has started its own Sky Formula 1 channel in Germany, which covers racing every day for 24 hours.

Sky plans to run a total of up to three hundred and eighty racing events this year, live on Sky Sports F1. This will increase the number of hours covered annually by over 800. In addition, there will be a great deal of documentary programming as well as shows and special formats which will draw heavily from Sky Sport F1’s international production base.

There are various race broadcasts available to watch in both live streaming and on RTL+ Formula 1 livestream this season. As in past seasons, the four Grand Prix prizes are again spread out over the entire year. You can look forward to watching some of these races during this Formula 1 season on free TV:

The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix will take place on 24.04.2022, the Silverstone Grand Prix will take place on 03.07.2022, the Dutch Grand Prix will take place on 04.09.2022, and the Brazilian Grand Prix will take place on 13.11.2022

As a whole, the Formula 1 race calendar this year will include 23 races. This is more events than ever before. Whether all of the races actually take place is still not completely clear, as after Russia's Grand Prix was canceled it is unclear what will replace it.

The Formula 1 World Champion will be announced on November 20th.
