Spielvereinigung Greuther Fürth is the best-known football club in Germany. The side have won countless leagues and cups, not to mention their 1-0 win over Bayern Munich when they were still called Vestenbergsgreuth! The issue should be written with excitement because it's about something interesting. The greatest successes in the history of SpVgg Fürth are three German championship titles. The club won their first two championships during the First World War, then just a year later with an unbeaten season that went unbeaten at home for more than 25 matches! In the 2012/13 season, the club managed to get promoted to the Bundesliga, but it came to a sad end - relegation to the second division in the middle of the season is anything but helpful for self-confidence...But the really big ones keep coming back back! This time, there were no glamorous headlines or flashy statistics about athletes, instead focusing on what mattered most: doing whatever it took to not just win.
