The new season 11B with eight episodes is available since 21.02.2022 on Disney+

The 11th and last season of The Walking Dead (The beginning of the end) began on August 23rd on the streaming service Disney+. New episodes will be released weekly.

The first eight episodes of the series will release in 2021 and the remaining episodes will be available throughout the year 2022 (the precise date is currently not known). All previous seasons are always available on Disney+

The original series ends but producers are planning various spin-off series and even movies with popular characters from the Walking Dead universe.

The 10th season had 22 episodes, which is unusual for the series. It also had a lot to tell. The Corona pandemic brought production to a stop, so the plot progressed slightly later than usual.

To remember: With the Whisperers, it was a group of hostile survivors of the Zombie pandemic. They believed that human beings should return to their animal roots again. This is basically how a Wolf pack behaves, led by woman named Alpha (Samantha Morton).

This way they could undetected mix among the dangerous zombies. These living communicated only in a whisper - hence the name Whisperer.

A mysterious group formed when Alpha (Cassidy McClincy) met her daughter Lydia (Ryan Hurst) at a hospital with a man named Beta (Ryan Hurst). Beta was Alpha's right hand and naturally number 2 in the command chain. This was from the point of view of the group, as they quickly gathered many more members as they traveled throughout the country.

The situation escalated quickly, until Jeffrey Dean Morgan infiltrated the Whisperers and killed Alpha. A final confrontation between the Whisperers and the residents of Hilltop, Alexandria, Oceanside and the Kingdom occurred in Episode 16.

After the six bonus episodes, which followed, they appeared in the psychology and past of the different characters.

Maggie has to now face numerous challenges and develop herself as a result. To do this, she has to not only protect her own life, but also that of her son.

Another episode focuses on Negan's past, including his relationship with his former opponent and wife. Additionally, we learn how he came to possess his iconic baseball bat made out of wire mesh.

Some of Carol's and Daryl's friends play an important role in these single stories. Additionally an unknown group takes Eugene, Ezekiel, Yumiko and Prince captive and separates them from each other. In particular, Princess must deal with her traumatic past during this time.
